the after Hours weekly

The After Hours Weekly is a weekly meme to showcase books, new books and what’s to come. Linked to Stacking the Shelves, hosted by Tynga’s Reviews & The Sunday Post hosted by Kimba the Caffeinated Book Reviewer.

Hello there! How was your week?

My week was in a nut shell, awful. I was battling a headache that started on Saturday and STILL has not went away. I have a history of migraines, and I will be going back on my medication but I just can’t shake it!

In other news – I have been in a serious life funk (more on that later this week) and I have been going back and forth on a lot of things to inspire me to push myself out of it or just shake things up. That being said, one of the things I have been thinking about is incorporating more LIFE things on this blog. I have started to a little — with discussion posts here and there. But I am talking sharing life advice, recipes, etc etc etc. I think the change of pace will help me and broaden my horizon’s a little. What does that mean for the blog!? MORE STUFF!

Once I get all my things together, I will address what changes I will make, if any, and what additions I will have. I am excited to start planning and I hope you are too!

I am so excited to read some Taylor Jenkins Reid! While You Were Mine caught my eye too- it looks good!

I’m sorry to hear you’re in the middle of a life funk. I definitely understand. I’m dealing with some life stuff too. It’s not very fun when there are so many things to figure out. We can hash it out next week over pizza! 🙂 <3

I think cliffhangers are fine, as long as the main problem in the book is resolved. Otherwise, there is no satisfaction at the end of the book. I think it is great to include more LIFE things in your blog. That way, it is a true expression of you. Have a wonderful week.
