She'll make him lose control...

Madison Daniels has worshipped her brother's best friend since they were kids. Everyone thinks she and Chase Gamble would make the perfect couple, but there are two major flaws in their logic. 1) Chase has sworn off relationships of any kind, and 2) after blurring the line between friends and lovers for one night four years ago, they can't stop bickering.

Forced together for her brother's wedding getaway, Chase and Madison decide to call a truce for the happy couple. Except all bets are off when they're forced to shack up in a tacky 70’s honeymoon suite and survive a multitude of "accidents" as the family tries to prove their "spark" can be used than for more than fighting. That is, if they don't strangle each other first…

I have had this book for years sitting on my Kindle. I was in the mood for something fun (not to mention sexy) and I knew this book would hit the mark. Plus – this romance troupe is always fun to read!

One thing I know going into a JLA book is that there will be snark, hilarious scenes and some HOT sex. And you get all that with Tempting the Best Man.

Both Madison and Chase are so stubborn and snarky it was fun to watch their encounters. Although they both carry themselves with confidence, they are both pretty vulnerable. Chase fears he isn’t good for Madison, while Madison fears she isn’t good enough.

These two had some intense chemistry and sexual tension going on. We don’t get many scenes of them together (this book is short) but still. I loved it all the same.

However much I liked it – I have to mention how cheesy it was too. Sure, it’s a quick, fun and steamy read you can devour in one sitting. But I was DYING for some wine. Also, the misunderstanding at the end was a bit much for me – and nothing was even discussed about what happened! Ugh.

Overall – If you are looking for a quick, fun and steamy read, I recommend this one.
