My name is Calla Price. I'm eighteen years old, and I'm one half of a whole. My other half-- my twin brother, my Finn-- is crazy. I love him. More than life, more than anything. And even though I'm terrified he'll suck me down with him, no one can save him but me. I'm doing all I can to stay afloat in a sea of insanity, but I'm drowning more and more each day. So I reach out for a lifeline. Dare DuBray. He's my savior and my anti-Christ. His arms are where I feel safe, where I'm afraid, where I belong, where I'm lost. He will heal me, break me, love me and hate me. He has the power to destroy me. Maybe that's ok. Because I can't seem to save Finn and love Dare without everyone getting hurt. Why? Because of a secret. A secret I'm so busy trying to figure out, that I never see it coming. You won't either.

First let me just say – if you have not read this book yet – I recommend you head on over and purchase it, right now. Mm’kay? I would also like to thank Chelsea and Wendy for pushing this book on me. I never would have stumbled upon Nocte and all its WHAT-THE-FUCKERY if it wasn’t for y’all.

This book is one of THE hardest books to review. There is so much to discuss – to explain, to THINK ABOUT… but you must head into this one with zero knowledge of anything. I tried to pry information out of Chelsea and Wendy, and I am so glad they didn’t give in! Knowing even one tiny detail of this book will ruin the whole experience.

I almost feel like this book was a challenge. I pride myself in figuring things out rather quickly in a book – so, wracking my brain trying to figure this one out was beyond tiring. While I didn’t NAIL IT, I did catch on to a few minor details that had me on the right track. Still, I was absolutely stunned.

It’s dark. Twisted. Mysterious. Intense. And the ending will test your resolve to throw your kindle, keep you up at night thinking about WHAT JUST HAPPENED and last, but not least, dying for the sequel.

Go buy it and read it ASAP.

I really need to pick this up. I had a blogger friend recommend it to me and I’ve heard great things, so I’ll probably pick it up in the next little bit. I really like going into books without knowing what to expect, a lot of the time I don’t even read the summaries, so it won’t be a problem for me to go in clueless on this one 🙂
